Not only do I feel privileged to be supporting this initiative as part of my work with the Community Partnerships and Programs teams, but I will also be singing during this showcase series on May 19th featuring a Persian song by Afarin Mansouri Tehrani.

I feel grateful to have been invited to speak about Nowruz, its history, and its rituals to the members and audiences at Ottawa Pagoda Sangha.

One month after the publication of my thesis research, I was thrilled to be invited to the University of Ottawa, the school I studied at for seven years, to present my research work as a guest speaker and to experience an insightful exchange of ideas with the performers in the class.
