Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Choral Music for the First Time in Ottawa

As a Samuel Coleridge-Taylor scholar, it’s been a dream of mine to bring this composer’s works to the stage and classrooms. During 2025-2026, I collaborated with the Ewashko Singers as an Artistic & Programming Consultant to introduce the choral music of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor to Ottawa for the very first time. I was honoured to bring my musicological research to life. Over 200 vocal pieces still await our discovery!
