Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s life is a story of struggles and breaking boundaries in a world divided up by racism, social injustice, and prejudice.This session is curated specifically for the general public to include information surrounding the composer’s life and works based on my master’s thesis. Come to learn about this forgotten composer and listen to some of his most beautiful music!No previous music experience is necessary.Suitable for: ages 12 and up, singers, singer-actors, choristers, performers, public speakers, educators, beginner, and intermediate students.
