I am thrilled to have been part of Elizabeth Llewellyn’s album release campaign for Heart and Hereafter. I was invited to speak about Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Six Sorrow Songs, Op. 57 – my master’s thesis research. In the short video below, I speak briefly about these songs and Coleridge-Taylor’s craft in combining art song and sorrow song genres.
